If this one is a part of an assignment/ course, it is better to ask your faculty or minutely read study materials from where you can easily find out the answer. Without understand please don't take shortcut to learn all of these. Or you may provide the purpose of this Q to reply proper.

This is an interesting question.  If you were a student, I'm sure that you would not only use the vastness of the interwebs to post your arbitrary question to a forum but actually find the answer.

R.A.M. = Random Access Memory, extremely volitle and only used for temporary storage space (for information going to and from the processor)

R.O.M. = Think BIOS.  READ ONLY MEMORY.  This is a memory chip usually with hard-coded simple instruction sets.  (Some ROM is flashable meaning that new instruction can be written to it but ROM is normally meant to be permanent and static.)
