 Rogue Posters
Do we have a few rogue poster on the website? I have noticed a couple of new members posting some quite inappropriate questions of late and then the questions disappear just as quickly as they appeared. I am all for getting essentially free points on here but it doesn't really sit with the ethos of the site answering non IT related questions. Anyone else noticed this??

Answer Wiki:
We delete non it questions as they are posted to the site. Also We do remove points from people who dont ask or answer questions related to IT topics. Some people find the site and assume they can answer any question on any topic some are quite strange and amusing. If you see ones that haven't been removed let us know by reporting the question.

ITKE says “some are quite strange and amusing.”
I don’t get to just hang out here so I don’t get to see those. Could you post a couple of the better ones? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Well we have had everything from ex wives posting information including phone numbers for their cheating husbands to people looking for advice on health issues. One we get often is “My boyfriend says he is tracking my cell phone thru his computer and sees all the sites and telephone numbers i call is this possible”
We also get a lot of electrical questions of people installing new lights in their houses and want wiring diagrams etc. Maybe we will start posting some of the funny ones on the community blog.

That would be nice.

Some months ago I saw one question about the amount of energy needed to smash an atom…

And I thought they were talking about an Intel atom processor… :-)
