I am trying to stop a control-alt-delete keypress from rebooting my RHEL 6 linux desktop. I have modified
/etc/init/control-alt-delete.conf to not do that, but
entering CAD first puts up a splash-screen that says
"This system with automatically shutdown in 60 seconds" with buttons for either "Hibernate"; "Restart
"; "Cancel" or "Shutdown"
How and where do I disable this as well??
My problem is that my RHEL 6 desktop is a Linux guest under VMWare Workstation, and sometimes the screens timeout and lock and I can't get them
back to the Login prompt box -- but I don't want
to inadvertently reboot the Linux guest when I am poking keys. My Windows host is setup to timeout
and lock, and require the control-alt-delete to log back on.
