 Retrieving the language and the library of a installed product
AS/400 administration, Display Software Resources, DSPSFWRSC, QSZRTVPR, Retrieve Product Information
I have a requirement of retrieving the language version of a installed product and the library. I can do this using DSPSFWRSC (F11 view) where we can see the feature code (e, g 2924 for En_US) and the installed library. But, how I can retrieve the info using a program. There is a API (QSZRTVPR) which could serve the purpose but need some example using PRDR0200 format. Alternatively, if we have a better way please suggest. Note: I generally want to avoid DSPSFWRSC OUTPUT(*OUTFILE)......if I am not forced to. Many thanks Sudip
