I accidentally deleted contents of a table and is now trying to recover the deleted rows.  I do not have a backup (how stupid of me).  I do have a .mdf file, however I believe i copied that file while SQL Server 2005 was running.  Is there anyway to recover this deleted data?

Software/Hardware used:
MS SQL Server 2005

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It depends.

If the SQL Server was running then the file that you copied will be pretty much useless. You can try attaching it to the SQL Server and see if it will let you.

If your database is in full recovery then you can get Lumigent’s Log Explorer or Quest’s LiteSpeed products and use their log reader functions to find the transaction within the log and roll it back. If your database is in simple recovery then this won’t work.
