How do I Restore an object (folder) to the iSeries IFS from our nightly backup SAV command, under a different folder name.

    I've never tried that, but I would think the New object name qualifier in the OBJ parameter of the RST command would be the best bet.

    You specify the RSTLIB option of RSTOBJ to whatever library you want the objects in.  It defaults to *SAVLIB, which puts them back where they were saved from
