How could I set any flag to the main document if there is any response document of it is existing? Or is there any @Command or @Function to check whether the main document have any child/response document or not? Thank You

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

@DocChildren and @DocDescendants are possible if you just need a visual indicator in a view.

You could use an agent to spin through your docs. If a doc has a $REF field, it’s the UNID of the parent, which you could then use to get the parent and modify it.

You could put some script in a Response doc’s OnSubmit or PostSave event to edit the parent, which you could get with the doc’s ParentDocumentUNID property.

Just a few ideas off the top of my head…

Use @responses, This will give the number of responses to that document. You can use this in a view column and display an icon, text or used directly the number responses. @if(@responses = 0 ; "No response"; "Responses") If you need this in a form you'll need to use the LotusScript function. notesdocument.responses which returns a document collection of the all reponses. Hopefully this helps.
