Report on installed applications

Hi, I have a set of 40 windows 2003 servers in my OU. I have been asked to get a report of machines that has IIS installed . I tried wmic command line tool with a txt file input, psinfo and gpinventory, but none with sucess. Have you used any other tool that is simple and quick?Thanks

    You could use Dameware's exporter to blast out everything into a txt or csv file for all workstations or servers, etc. The just organize in excel and get your data. All you really need to do is figure out if the www service is present on the machine. There are a lot of ways to do this including built in utilities like reg etc. A WMI query would be "select * name win32_baseservice where name = 'w3svc'" Apply that against a list of computers (possibly using WMIC or powerscript) and you'll have your answer. Dameware is faster, IMO.
