 replication problem in Active Directory
i have created users for the clients on the server using the AD(in windows server 2003),and they are created but the problem is that whenever i try to login by the created user on any of the clients(using windows XP) it gets me a message saying "the user could not logon",,what could this possibly be from and how to fix this problem. thank you, masta_ash

Hi masta_ash, 1st you need to check wither all xp client is added to the domain or (the Clint is properly blinded with ADS server. 2 nd things you need to check any policy is created in the server. agreed, there are a number of different errors that are related to logon issues. Typically when a machine is joined to a domain, the domain users group is added to the local users group on the client. The typical error caused by misconfigured GPO is “User cannot logon interactively due to policy restriction.” Make sure you haven’t made any strange group policy changes, or you may end up having to reset your settings by importing the setup.inf security template to your default domain policy.
