Replication history
Database replication, Lotus Notes 8.x, Lotus Domino replication, Lotus Notes replication
Hi there,

1) I try to replicate a database from our sister company plant via VPN, but the problem is the replication cannot started and an error message prompted -> "Unable to locate program : nwrdaemn.dll".

2) I also cannot open the database using Notes Server id even though the server ID has been authorized as Manager.

3) In Lotus Notes Client 8.02, where can we find the replication history log?.

The server id may have manager access but is it set to be a person or server? it won't let you access as a client if it is set to server.

The replication history is in the server log (log.nsf) and on the database. right click on db icon and select replication/history

The your server needs to see the other server as a tcpip address. This means vpn client is setup on the server to be running all the time. the error idicates that you didn't load all the network drivers when you installed the server. Whos vpn are you using?

Can you access the remote server and database with a client and user id?

Thanks a lot Mr Brucelli,

The database now can be opened with server id once it has changed into Person instead of server.

But I still cannot see the Replication-> History by right clicking on the database on R 8.02 client (on R 6.5.5 I can view it normally). By the way I’ll try to use log database to look for the history

This is the VPN type that I’m using :
3Com EtherLink XL 10/100 PCI For Complete PC Management NIC (3C905C-TX) #2
