If you don&#039;t want lose your data, I recommend to disconnect immediately the hard disk.

If a chip take fire it can damage your hard disk.
The internal power supply could have been ruined

When you connect the new motherboard,  still the hard disk disconnected up to seeing on your screen that all components works.

Then connect your hard disk.
