Replacement motherboard for Gateway MX6453 notebook computer

I am working on a Gateway MX6453 notebook with a bad motherboard (part #31MA3MM00B1) and am having trouble finding a replacement board. Does anyone know if I am limited to this exact part number for replacement or do I have other options? If so, what other boards can I use as a replacement.

I would suggest doing a search for laptop motherboards and just matching port locations and size since most manufacturers won't make two motherboards for one product line.

Are you sure that it's a bad motherboard?

Have you replaced the system battery on the motherboard? Have you tested your power supply (if the MB isn't getting power no way in hell it will work...)? Have you checked the connections? Cleaned or exercised the connections recently?
