When the Parent folders has subfolder, you can customise the use of Subfolders using this option. In brief.. Say for example, the Parent folder has access to Administrator, Domain Admins Users Group, For Sub folders you can Just restrict the access only to Domain Users. So, the Domain users will not be able to access the Parent Folders, But still they will have access to Subfolder.

Also when you select this option, It will ask you need to keep the existing ACL by &quot;Copy&quot; or &quot;Remove&quot;. Always select &quot;Copy&quot; so you can remove the member group which you do not want.

If you Select &quot;Remove&quot; all the ACL will be removed and again you need to setup the permissions.]]></description>
