Removing preview pane in Outlook 2007 through GPO
Is there anyway of removing permanently the auto preview pane in Outlook 2007 using a GPO? I believe this option existed in OL2003. I need to have this change through GPO so that users can't set it up again.

Answer Wiki:
Do you want to do this for security reasons? The Preview Pane is a very useful feature. You might want to read this first. Read the information under "Corporate Preview Pane Policies."

So, if he/she still wants to do it. Is it possible ?

Hi, thank you for your interest. This is what I have found out now. The Auto preview cannot be switched off but the Reading pane can be. I have then disabled the command IDs of Auto preview and also Reading pane so that the options appear as greyed out in Outlook 2007. The problem is that when I apply the policies then someone who had Auto preview switched on will then be unable to switch it off as the button would have been gryed out. I have done a custom adm to disable the Reading pane first and then grey out the button.
