Q:
Remove Printers and Faxes from XP Start menu?
Does anyone know a method for removing the printer and faxes icon from the start menu in Group Policy (2003 Server) or another method. I disabled the right to add/remove printers, but I would like to remove the icon all together.

Also, is there a way to disable the function keys? specficaly F9? This one brings up the printer applet and then user can type URL and UNC paths into the address bar. I would like to block all funtion keys too.

The disabling of function keys could cause a multitude of problems .. If the user is not a member of a group that can access (via acl's) the shared printer then try as they might they cant print to it.. much less see the printer.
