		<description>Yes, both applications are freeware. You may need some way of mirroring the ports those clients are attached to though to see responses from the ping requests unless you can capture traffic at the other destination point.</description>

		<description>I appreciate your answer but... A remote desktop is not a viable option for me as the 2 nodes in question are Radiological Modalities and the reason for this question is to attempt to troubleshoot a connectivity issue without jeapordizing patient care.

Would the 2 applications (hping or netwag) be freeware? If so, where would I be able to get this downloaded from?</description>
