Remote pc access to As400

VPN, V5R4, Remote access to iSeries

I am trying to access my As400 from a remote pc. Our AS00 is at V5/R4 and sits behind a SonicWall firewall. I can log into our SonicWall firewall via vpn and access Windows Servers on the network etc but I can not access or ping the As400. What am i missing?

Thanks,

Steve

Who manages your Sonicwall VPN? They may need to modify the config to open additional ports or destination hosts to enable you to communicate w/ your AS/400.

Search400 has published a few articles on troubleshooting remote connections to iSeries that may be helpful.

I hope these are useful.
