Remote Desktop – works from one XP machine but not the other
Computer 1 is XP desktop and can connect to RDP on several external servers.   Computer 2 is XP laptop but cannot connect to any external servers.   Both computers are on the same network.   When laptop became available my desktop was replaced.   Since then I cannot connect via RDP to external servers.   I reconnected my old desktop and I CAN connect to external servers.  Obvious solution would be throw out laptop.  Does anyone have a better solution?  Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

What Windows service pack level is the laptop? Have all available updates been applied? What application are you using to connect? (I ask this because I have two programs I use that are not the one that comes in the OS to RDP to servers, so I am not assuming what you are using). What errors do you get when you try? Please provide more details Thanks!
