We have a new XP SP3 PC running RD v. 7 attached to our network in the last week. All of our other systems are using Remote Desktop V. 6.0. We are connecting to a Server 2003 system. The new system connects fine but comes up with a screensaver after 10 to 15 minutes of inactivity forcing the user to enter log in again on the server. All settings are the same as the other systems. I have searched everywhere and can not find what difference in v.7 of Remote Desktop is causing this and how to stop it. Please help! Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I see the screen saver pop up at the specified time from v6 or v7. Simply disable the screen saver or the password for the screen saver for the session. You should also log out of the server when your work is complete. This is a totally normal action and is this way for security purposes.
