 Remote Desktop Connections gone?
We service a number of clients networks using Remote Desktop Connections - generally a very easy access. Today I was unable to log into a server at one site, but as they were having a number of issues, I wrote it off as a specific company problem. Now I am unable to access our largest client network - using any of our remote software. I cannot ping, attempts to run a trace route fail immediately - while I can reach any other customer networks. I am totally baffled, can't even think of what else I can do to troubleshoot......help?

Answer Wiki:
Have you talked to your local firewall support team? They could be making changes that block these protocols. The other end of the connection may have also made firewall changes so check with them also.

Update with some more information. Are they both big networks behind real firewalls or are these home networks? Has their public IP’s changed? Are you accessing them via hostname or ip? Etc…
