Are you able to remote to other servers successfully? Have you been able to remote to this server before?

Remote desktop connection error
Remote access, Remote connectivity, Network connectivity, Remote Desktop Connection, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, REMOTE I am getting the error: "the client could not connect to the remote computer. remote connections might not be enabled or thecomputer might be too busy to accept new connections. it is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. please try connecting again later. if the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator."
iam using w2003 server in dc with xp clients, and using internet through a router default gateway

Hi,
This Ali younis 1st of all check that remote desk top is enabled by press right click on my computer then properties, you will see new window with alot of tabs, click on tab remote and check the box that say
"Allow users to connect remotly to this computer then press OK.
2nd of all check your permissions,do you have permission to access remotly or not ??

I have seen this at times after patching and trying to reastart a 2003 server in the remote session. The restart does not happen and the server provides limited connectivity. There is a hotfix
Restart the server either remotely using shutdown or psshutdown or fromn the console and see if RDP connectivity is restored. The hotfix fixes the problem where you can't shutdown properly in a remote session
