In my office we are using Netscape novigator to send and reveive mails. E-mail server is in Delhi (H.O). Here I am facing the problem that the attachments are not opening and when we want to send a E-mail it is hanging in the message box. But there is no problem with the E-mail server in H.O. No virus in the systems Any body give me a solution to rectify this problem Regards, Raaghavendra T.R. Mobile: 9886239118 E-mail: raaghu@omaxauto.com Bangalore

Hi Raaghavendra!! Good Morning & Greetings of the Season. Need to know 2 things. 1st - Netscape Mail - is it a company policy to use only netscape mail? 2nd - Have you tried configuring MS Outlook or Outlook Express? Does the error occur in Outlook too ? What is the exact error message if any? Awaiting your replies. Nilesh Roy. nilesh@nileshroy.com www.nileshroy.com +91 932 379 8440

Have you tried deleting the indexes and letting netscape rebuild them? It's been a while since I did that, but I *think* they are the .MSF files. Do a google search or something to find out. And back everything up first, of course. Netscape files are under the .SLT directory, which is usually under this path on windows 2000 and XP. (It's different under win98): C:Documents and SettingsdaleApplication DataMozillaProfilesUSERNAMEMISC CHARACTERS.SLTMAIL There is an excellent netscape forum on compuserve. I do not have a specific answer, but my experience with Netscape has always been negative; nothing but problems. OE is as good as, or better than anything out there. You can do more with it and there's less problems. Now this is assuming that there are n o problems at the server.
