 Reg. POP3 Service….

Hii Everybody, I have installed Active dir. with win server 2003 and Exchange server, in my home PC for practice purpose using loopback adaptor.... My problem is that using microsoft webmail i am able to send and receive the mails, but using Outlook express i can not..... i checked POP3 and SMTP protocol services, there SMTP is started and POP3 is stopped, i tried to restart but i couldnt..... Does anybody knows what would be the reason... Any comment greatly appreciated.. Thanks in Advance..

You need to check what your Event Log is saying. It should state the reason the service is crashing or stopping. SF
