Perhaps I am failing to connect the term, but what exactly do you mean by redundancy? If you are talking about having too many switches or access points, this can confuse a network, flooding it with duplicate traffic (an issue combated by STP). If you are talking about redundant arrays, then these could improve WLAN performance. Please let me know if I am accurately addressing your question. -Schmidtw
