Has anyone see a correlation between Group policy settings and an issue with recurring drive mappings?

Answer Wiki:
I just spent HOURS troubleshooting a windows 2003 ad domain where the users were assigned shares via group policy but when they logged in they were not there. The solution? there were legacy login scripts in the users profiles deleting the shares after they were mapped via GP! Check login profiles, check the system log and check startup batch or script files!
