Data Recovery Software
Have just formated my PC recently, and later installed the Easy Recovery Data Software. I was hoping that I would be able to retrace some of the files in the hard disk which I had deleted but to no avail. Which type of software would you recomend for recovering lost data.

<humor> The best way to recover lost data is to have a backup before you lose it. </humor>

X-Ways Davory may work but your odds of recovery are pretty slim.

Depending on how the formatting was done, there might be nothing to recover. And if anything like a reinstall of the OS and running any programs was done, there's no reason to think anything useful can be recovered at all. -- Tom

As for recover software, I recommend FinalData to you.
But I also want to recommend a backup software to you: AOMEI Backupper.
You'd better form a good habit of backup important files regularly.
