 Recovering a SQL Server Database into a Database of a different language
My company is providing a copy of our database to a sister organization in Japan. Is there a way of restoring the database in Japan such that the language will be in Japanese?

I don't know of any products available that would translate the text to Japanese. While you can change collation to accomodate Japanese, this assumes that the data itself is already in that language. I would think that you probably could write a DTS package to do the translation, provided you had the software to do the translation. This won't help you much with specific terminology as the Japanese tend to use the American word written in Katakana (an example would be 'Baseball' which they would then be pronounced 'Besuball'). This assumes that you are translating to Katakana as this doesn't require a DBCS. Kanji (chinese characters) is DBCS. I'm not sure which one Hiragana is.
