That’s a tough one to answer not knowing what type of IT training you need. That’s a pretty broad range of skills. From Microsoft Word to software development to security and beyond. The various TechTarget websites are chock full of IT-related content that can help. Global Knowledge is well-known for its classes. You might consider searching for your specific topic along with the word “training” on Google or Bing and I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Tricky question. Depending on what software you are using of animation / 3D development. Some products are better suited for specific coding languages like C#, VB, JAVA. Provide some details on what you are using for software and we can try and point you in the right direction. If you are just getting started and have a tight budget there are some good free utilities out there with good tutorials and videos. The user forums are also a great place to ask those questions that beginners will face.

You mentioned animation studio and again told about basic IT training. What did you want to know, about basic IT training or animation/multimedia related training, which is almost a advanced training in computer field. If you did mean animation studio, it is related to various software like 3ds Max, Maya, 2D or 3D animation or various tools or software that is necessary to learn for this type of job.

If you have some specific software in mind you plan on using let us know. There are many good tutorials out there. You might find that a classroom environment may get quicker results. I have take a few tutorials and watched countless videos on some subjects. The problem you run into is slightly outdated content. Some menu options in the tutorial version may not match exactly the software version you are running. This can lead to frustration. Having an instructor to bounce questions off and get a clear answer without spending hours Googling to try and find it can be a time saver.

Hi, Thanks for all your replies. I am interested in training for basic computer setup for hardware, software, network across PC and macs. Entry level IT first line support. Not as specialized for Animation specific machines or software. Many thanks, Daph
