Receiving sent emails in my inbox
How do I change Outlook 2003 to keep my sent messages from coming to my inbox? I am copying myself on each sent message, but can't figure out how to change it where I am not receiving these. Thanks!

Answer Wiki:
Well....you are sending yourself copies, so they are going to keep coming into your inbox until you quit sending them. You will have your copies already in your sent mail - so you might want to simply quit copying yourself on each one as well. ********************************* You could set up a rule that will redirect any messages sent by you to a "my copies" sub-folder. Search outlook help for "Message Rules" I use similar rules to automatically more work related and home related e-mails to the appropriate folder based on sender address.

Make sure you have outlook settings set to save a copy of your sent items, then you can access them at any time in the sent items folder. There really is no reason to copy yourself too when you have a saved copy of everything you send in your sent itmes folder.
