    You can do USROPN on the file
    Pass in the Member Name to the program
    Then do OVRDBF xxx MBR(xxx) in the RPG before you open the file.

    The f spec would have keywords USROPN and EXTMBR

    The value of extmbr can be a variable.  It's value must be loaded before the OPEN command.
