Hi there,
As far as I know, if the document can be opened, it can be printed. “Read-only” means you can still edit and print, just not save the changes. You might need to add extra permissions to the document (eg, a password) that only allows certain people to access it. Other than that, there is no real way to prevent the printing of a document.

Even if there was a way to disable printing the doc within an application, there is still the possibility of being able to use cut and past to copy the data into a printable document, or at the very least using screen capture to create a printable image.
