Read excel file to iSeries using RPGLE and JAVA
I am trying to read an excel file to iSeries platform using combination of RPGLE and JAVA. Is anyone done this before and get it to work? Please advise.

yes, this works great! You can read, update and create Excel spreadsheets. The solution is based on the Jakarta POI project.
Scott Klement wrote some articles for iSeries Network that explain how to use Java POI/HSSF classes to read and write directly to Excel spreadsheets.
