If we have a VMware server hosting several Window servers 2008 can we RDP into each server at the same time even though the server only has one NIC?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Well if you have a server you wish to run VMware on i would first of all suggest using 2 NIC’s teamed (and another 2 for redundancy).

Yes you can RDP to each server at the same time as you would be connecting to ‘server1′,’server2′ etc not IP address of the NIC/VMware server.

Each Virtual server will have its own IP address which you communicate to via a virtual connection between the virtual machine and the physical NIC.

If you want more detailed info in why/how it will work read up on Virtualisation from any supplier or vendor.
