AS/400 question:
Why should you do an RCLACTGRP
As per my understanding, When a module in the service program is changed and you want your program to have the changes implemented, you have to do a RCLACTGRP so that the changes have to be in effect. Or else a sign-out and sign-in of the session actually works. So reclaim activation group actually initializes all the resources & the changes will be reflected.
Can you please correct me if this is incorrect?
Thanks.

It’s correct enough for as far as it goes. It only covers some possible reasons for RCLACTGRP. — Tom
