 Rebuilding Raid 5
I have a ML 350 with a 641 controller running RAID5 with 3 36 gb drives and 2 72 gb drives. Since the 72s are acting as 36s can I rebuild them with 36s?

Answer Wiki:
If all 5 disks are in a single RAID 5 then yes you should be able to replace the 72s with 36s. Remote one and drop in a 36 Gig disk and see if it rebuilds. If not just put the 72 back in. Either way you'll have your answer. Just make sure you don't pull out another drive until the rebuild is complete.
