I have a raid 10 4 drive array. Can I add more drives to this setup?

The answer depends on your storage device.  You can add up to the supported amount on your storage device.  Also, most storage devices will require you to delete all data on your current array if you want to add or remove physical drives from the RAID group.

    You can't create a RAID 10 setup with less than 4 drives. It's hard to think of a system that only has 4 drives and that needs RAID 10. I don't have a RAID 10 setup, so I can't verify if drives can be "added", but I'd be surprised if they couldn't be. Drives would need to be added at least in pairs, and I would expect that they should be added four at a time. Further, I would expect that you should save all data, reconfigure the array to include new drives, and then restore the saved data to the new configuration. Tom
