RAID 10, 1/0 or 1+0: do you use this disk technology in your SAP productions?
RAID 10 (aka: raid 1/0, raid 1+0) disk technology: and would like to know if anybody use it in production machines (in case: which advantages with respect to RAID5?). We know and already have RAID on (not only) production systems but so far only RAID1 and RAID5 were advised by our consultants: RAID10 (1+0 OR 1/0) was a new technology for us and thus my question. Thanks for sharing your experience and comparison with respect to RAID5.

Hi I am not from SAP background. My office uses SQL. But we use Raid 1+0. Reason for this is by using this raid, the response is faster. That is all I can share with you
