Hi,
Upgrading is not a simple task. Therefore, you may have to look carefully at what Enterprise will bring as a benefit. On what release of R/3 are you?
The customer I’m working with which is an international company is on release 46C. They are not planning to upgrade to Enterprise at the moment but is definitely planning to upgrade to mySAP ERP as this release would be “Netweaver Powered” and therefore will give more flexibility.
Regards
There is a website you can go to http://www.sap.com/mk/get/smb_web_series_crd that gave a decent presentation in April. It’s for small to midsize businesses. It gave very good information that helped us decide that moving to R/3 Enterprise is not needed for our company at the moment. You could probably contact someone from there to get your hands on it.
At least you should consider the upgrade before the maintenance of your SAP version runs out (in case you had in the past issues and SAP support solved them) otherwise I have clients still on 3.1G and no problems
Peter
Thanks to those of you that replied to my question. I am in the consulting world so am not necessarily asking for a specific situation, i.e. the questions about current release could be answered “It depends!”. However, I do have acces to the SAP Marketplace, so will follow up those leads.

Hi.
With the extension of mainstream maintenance of 4.6C to Dec 2006, you got lots of time to see which is the best upgrade path.
Hi,
There is a nice presentation about odds and even of SAP enterprise on the SAP Marketplace. You can download a PDF “SAP R3 enterprise.pdf”.
Hope this can help.
Cheers.
