Quick advance to certain page in document

Is there a way in viewing a long document to advance to a pre-dertermined and certain page; i.e., chapter headings?

I’m assuming you’re using Microsoft Word here – if you create chapter headings using the ‘Heading’ option in the formatting menu, Word will automatically create bookmarks within the document (usually a table of content will appear at the left side of the viewing window. Then you can click on any of those headings and go directly to that part of the document.
