Can I use remote journaling to make a central repository of the QAUDJRN journal receivers? Can I manage the journal receivers on the two systems separately? (I want to keep the central repository receivers for 1 year, but the original system for only a week) The manual & redbook don't address either question.

Software/Hardware used:
OS400 6.1 & 7.1

There doesn't seem to be anything unusual about either question. QAUDJRN is allowed, and there is no real connection between management of the source and target receivers. The documentation probably doesn't cover the questions because there are no relevant restrictions to cover. It's easy enough to test. -- Tom
