Purchasing Hazardous materials (Ora DB)
SAP errors, ESHM, Oracle, CTMS
Is there a real expert out there? Here you go:MRP Planners cannot validate “ESHM” for hazardous materials purchase requisitions. SAP does not allow the PR to route to QC or the buyer without this validation.
Hazardous material must have an ESHM (Environmental/Safety/Health Management) number from CTMS (Chemical Tracking Management System) and the ESHM number must be approved for the HML (Hazardous material location). There is a job that runs overnight to update SAP with the required CTMS data required during validation.
The purchase req will not process with the error: HML & ESHM not found in Oracle ESH Restriction Tbl
Any ideas?
