Dear Aksa and SAP HR community

Thanks to Aksa for attempting to answer. But pl. note infotypes adding and maintaining is a much larger task. Not only that you need to configure the use of them to get the requirements resolved.

The requirements in our brief is:
a)Leave can be purchased in lots of 10 or 20 days. The purchase contract is for one year.
b)The base salary is reduced by a certain percentage depending on the no.of days purchased.
c)Certain w/t's are paid at the reduced rate. Some w/t's like O/T are paid at a rate using the normal base salary.
d)The purchase results in a quota entitlement for Purchased Leave.
e)The Purchased Leave is to be utilised within the contract period of 1 yr.

What I have done is:
a)A wage type is created for entering in Basic Pay IT 0008 with no. of days purchased. This will result in creating the quota entl from that day.
b)The required w/t's are reduced based on the w/t.
