Our client wants to introduce Purchased leave. An empl can purchase this leave upto 10 days per year by foregoing a percentage of salary each pay period over 12m. He/she can avail of the leave within 12m after he has contracted to purchase. Can someone give me a feed back on how it is done? I have seen the HR-PS. It allows to apply for purch leave for 1 day in a IT 573 rec. I prefer entering in one bloack for any number of days.

Dear Aksa and SAP HR community Thanks to Aksa for attempting to answer. But pl. note infotypes adding and maintaining is a much larger task. Not only that you need to configure the use of them to get the requirements resolved. The requirements in our brief is: a)Leave can be purchased in lots of 10 or 20 days. The purchase contract is for one year. b)The base salary is reduced by a certain percentage depending on the no.of days purchased. c)Certain w/t's are paid at the reduced rate. Some w/t's like O/T are paid at a rate using the normal base salary. d)The purchase results in a quota entitlement for Purchased Leave. e)The Purchased Leave is to be utilised within the contract period of 1 yr. What I have done is: a)A wage type is created for entering in Basic Pay IT 0008 with no. of days purchased. This will result in creating the quota entl from that day. b)The required w/t's are reduced based on the w/t. Regards JG
