Scripting
I am curious if there is a way to have run a script that will log into all of the As400's I have and pull information down to an excel sheet. The information I would be interested in getting is serial number, ptf level, model/type, and if there is a way to change a basic user profile with a script. I know I can log into each box and do this but if I can run a script it would be much easier.

Software/Hardware used:
AS400

I am curious if there is a way to have run a script that...   Yes. But what is your definition of "script"? What scripting languages are you familiar with? Where would you want it to run? And will the script do the same thing every time on every system?   Tom

Im not really familiar with any scripting but we have people that are and I can learn it as well.  I can alter the scripts with different log in's for the servers but as far as information being pulled it would be the same on each box... IE PTF levels, Models, Serial numbers, System names and such.  Just looking for a way to do this other then logging into over a hundred systems manually and copy and pasting.
