Publishing PDFs as HTML On Internal Website
We have some PDF documents that we need accessed through an internal website on thin clients. We have some on-the-floor thin clients that connect wirelessly to our resources. I am in the process of setting a simple HTML interface to view these PDFs. I am having a problem getting the PDFs to display. Any suggestions? -Schmidtw

Answer Wiki:
Where are the PDF's being placed? Can the TC's actually browse anything else on that webserver? You could setup a quick APACHE server using some linux distro out there and serve up the content from that host. On your TC's you will need to include a PDF reader in the image to open the files. <a href="http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/">FoxitReader</a> is a good reader and seems to be leaner than Adobe Acrobat. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I already have a server. I'm having difficulty with the rendering of the PDFs on the thin clients. I notice Foxit has a Linux reader, which I will investigate. -Schmidtw
