If we are loading/applying the following PTF's C8386177_01 - 4 C8305540_01 - 9 My index is 1 - 13 (Total number of CD's) When I do the option 8 to install program Temporary fix, Do I want to set the "Prompt for media" to 1 or 3? Automatic IPL is set to "No".

You want to use option 2=Multiple PTF volume sets. You are loading the latest cum- one set, and a custom group ptf build which is the second multivolume set. I just applied this CUM and a group build this weekend using the same method.

    Thanks Dan, This is for an unattended IPL correct? Also, does it make a difference as to which group get loaded and applyed first? As you can see in my original post...I have the Cume loading last....does it matter. BTW, When would I want to use option 1 or 2 for the Prompt for media option. Thanks again!!

    You want the CUM, 8305, in the image catalog indexed before the Group PTFs. You can reindex them without reloading all of it. The CUM has the more complex installation script so it should load first.

    You would use option 1 if you were only doing one set, such as the CUM, or just hipers. Option 3 would be if had CDs and also individual PTFs already loaded to *service. Be careful with that one. Prompt for media is for when you are loading the PTFs to service directly from CD and not using an image catalog.
