I want to configure my squid proxy server for my existing domain, which has windows 2003 server as domain controller. So I want to authenticate users who want to connect to the internet through my active directory database. Can anybody help me out with how to do the configuration? Please reply as soon as possible, as I have limited time to finish it up. Thanks

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You need to first start by looking at Samba (samba.org) and specifically winbind and samba. Winbind will handle your connection to your AD and then configure Squid to use Samba/Winbind to authenticate users. There is great documentation on samba.org on how to do this under the Official How-To link.
