I'm an Ubuntu Linux user and I'm only using Windows XP for work-related activities. I recently set up a virtual machine with XP and Visual Studio 2008. However, I have a few questions:

  1. Have anyone tried to work efficiently under environment set on VM? Are there any issues regarding performance?
  2. Besides performance, are there any other significant issues I should be aware of about developing software under a virtual machine?

Any help is much appreciated!
