Profiles disabled due to incorrect signon

How can I determine if a password has been disabled on the iSeries specifically because of a number of failed log-in attempts? I ran the DSPAUDJRNE command after having a profile fail for this reason, but it did not specify the reason for this. I looked at the QASYCPJ4 file generated from the report but could not find any other information that may point me to the cause.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

if you just want to know users currently disabled, you can do a DSPUSRPRF USRPRF(*ALL) TYPE(*BASIC) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(LIB/FILE) and then query the resulting file for disabled profiles, and number of invalid signon attempts. If you want to know historically, I know it’s available, I’d just have to do a bit more digging (I use DSPUSRPRF all the time to keep our user list clean)
