 Profile missing in HDD, and so archived pst files and My document files.
I given mY laptop for slow perfomance to my PCSC(pc service), they changed the HDD and copied only limited data on C , but could able to retrieve profile data, as the there is nothing listed in Documents and setting dir.

When tried to keep the old HDD and reboot the laptop, it is coming up shell32dll missing, when we copy the shell32.dll, it did come up till the login screen, but when we try login administrater, it is unable get in.

the OS my laptop is  Microsoft Windows XP professional version 2002 service pack 3.

Please help out to retrieve my My documents data and .pst (archive folders and much more.)

Please help to resolve this issue,

Answer Wiki:
First try to boot the system in safe mode by pressing F8 key. If it is okay and allows to login successfully take all of ur data. If this will not click then it is better to reinstall XP on ur laptop. Please just repair xp (never format) and try to get the data. Because, in repairing mode, nothing will be lost. all of ur data and SW intact inside the laptop. Even this trick will not work, try to attach the HDD with another pc as slave and get ur data back again ! Thanks
